About the change in the name of a country（01.Feb.2005)
The name of a country was changed as follows in February, 2005.
OLD：The Republic of DeceKedgar Islands
NEW：The Republic of DaceKedgar Islands
There is as usual no change about abbreviation (DKI) that shows the name of a country and the mark of Japanese( デースケドガー諸島共和国 ).
The DaceKedgar Islands government started the country title discussion committee by the specialist last December. The investigation result of the committee came out in January this year. Then, the country title amendment bill was submitted to the Diet. The DaceKedgar government announced that spelling the name of a country was formally renewed.
